MELBOURNE co-captains Nathan Jones and Jack Viney have accepted their sanctions for being involved in a melee during Monday night’s ANZAC Day Eve clash against Richmond at the MCG.
The AFL announced on Wednesday that all four players from the match had accepted their sanctions offered by the match review panel.
Sanctions Accepted:
Trent Cotchin, Richmond, has accepted a $1500 sanction for being the instigator of a melee during the third quarter of the Round Five match between Richmond and Melbourne, played at the MCG on Monday April 24, 2017.
Jack Riewoldt, Richmond, has accepted a $2500 sanction for being involved in a melee during the third quarter of the Round Five match between Richmond and Melbourne, played at the MCG on Monday April 24, 2017.
Jack Viney, Melbourne, has accepted a $2500 sanction for being involved in a melee during the third quarter of the Round Five match between Melbourne and Richmond, played at the MCG on Monday April 24, 2017.
