MELBOURNE has launched a new fundraising campaign ahead of the upcoming 2018 NAB AFL Women’s season.
The club is committed to providing first class resources for its players and now members and supporters can show their support by making a tax-deductible donation to Melbourne’s AFLW team and women’s programs.
Melbourne continues to be an industry leader in supporting women in football. Through its AFLW team and support of junior and senior women’s football in Victoria, the club actively works to encourage the growth and development of the sport from the grassroots level through to elite senior football, on and off the field.
The club is also a proud partner of the South Metro Junior Football League (SMJLF) and supports both the Hallam Senior College Sports Academy and the Melbourne Girls’ Grammar Academy, which offers female secondary school students a unique Australian rules football development program.
Through Melbourne’s fundraising partnership with the Australian Sports Foundation, donations $2 and over to Melbourne Football Club’s Red and Blue Foundation are tax deductible.
For more information on our partnership and tax deductibility visit the ASF website.
Melbourne will kick off its 2018 AFLW campaign this Saturday, February 3 when it meets the GWS Giants in front of a home crowd at Casey Fields.
