Tyson says the team is ready for its clash against the Adelaide Crows at Adelaide Oval on Saturday night.
Tyson, who is playing his 100th AFL game, said the Demons relished playing at the venue, where it has won two of its past three encounters.
“We do like the venue and we generally play pretty well as a group,” he told Melbourne Media pre-match.
“We have had some good wins recently and in years gone by.
“It’s a ground, for whatever reason, we tend to enjoy, so we’ve just got to make sure we bring the heat early, because they’re a good offensive side, so we’ve got to make sure our defence is on.”
Tyson said the players had prepared strongly after its kick-after-the-siren loss to Geelong at the Cattery last round.
“We got into Adelaide yesterday and had a run at the ground yesterday (Friday) afternoon,” he said.
“We did our meeting last night, our full tactics and some walk throughs … and then away we go.
“They’re in some good form and we’ve planned for a few things that we’ve been doing recently.
“We’re mainly sticking to our structures, but it’s about executing it for four quarters tonight.”
Although proud to achieve his 100-game milestone, Tyson played down his achievement.
“To be honest, I haven’t thought too much about it,” he said.
“You get a few text messages, and the coaches and the playing group have made a bit of a scene about it, but honestly, it’s another game – we’ve just got to win tonight.
“The minute the ball is bounced, it’s just focusing on what we planned for and hopefully executing it.
“We’ve got Lewy’s (Jordan Lewis’ 300-game) milestone as well, so hopefully it’s a win for his occasion.”
