AMY Harrison and James Munro are this week’s King Gee Trademark Players of the Week for the Casey Demons.
In the early VFLW game at Queens Park, defender Harrison was Damien Keeping’s standout.
“Throughout the past two games Harro has defended with incredible composure and has also provided a fierce attack on the contest,” Keeping said.
“Furthermore, her preparedness to communicate within the heat of battle continues to make her team mates better.”
In the VFL, Jade Rawlings also went with a defender as his player for the week in Munro.
Munro led the disposal count for Casey with 23.
“Jimmy has had a very good last five weeks as a defender. Against Geelong he played at a consistent intensity over four quarters and demonstrated great leadership when the team required it,” Rawlings said.
“Jimmy plays with a passion and spirit that is contagious.”
Harrison and Munro will receive $150 King Gee vouchers for their performances.
