MELBOURNE will be honouring the late Ian Johnson on Sunday by wearing black armbands in its Round 15 clash with Brisbane.

Johnson, who was awarded Life Membership of the club in 2007, sadly passed away earlier in the week, aged 72.

Johnson served on the club’s board from 1994 to 2001 and was the club’s vice-president from 1998 to 2001.
