MELBOURNE has revealed its 2016 ANZAC Guernsey ahead of its ANZAC Day Eve blockbuster against Richmond.
The design is based heavily upon the club’s traditional red and blue guernsey.
The silhouette of a soldier is positioned against the red yoke of the guernsey. This yoke represents the going down of the sun, while the blue of the guernsey represents the ground upon which the soldier stands.
The phrase ‘Lest We Forget’ is watermarked on the back of the guernsey.
The ANZAC emblem is featured on the left hand side of the guernsey’s front, with the RSL Centenary logo positioned on the bottom right (in the player issue guernseys only).
The ANZAC Guernsey is available now at The Demon Shop
