IN his third season of AFL football, Jacob van Rooyen improved week-to-week with the 21-year-old ending the season on 30 goals and earning himself his third Brownlow vote.
The 193cm forward spent his time between the forward line and stoppages, stepping in to support Max Gawn with the ruck work, giving van Rooyen valuable experience around the ground.
The forward was up to his usual antics, crashing packs and taking contested marks around the ground, claiming his second 22-under-22 squad selection from the AFLPA.
