MELBOURNE has made a further change to its AFL list, informing Adam Tomlinson that he will not receive a contract for the 2025 season.

Tomlinson, a former GIANT, joined the Demons ahead of the 2020 season and went on to play 45 matches in the red and blue.

The defender also featured 32 times at VFL level and was part of the Casey Demons’ 2022 premiership side.

Melbourne AFL List Manager Tim Lamb thanked Tomlinson for his commitment over the past five years.

“Adam has made a significant contribution in his time at the club, and we are thankful for all he has given to our program,” Lamb said.

“We wish Adam, his partner Cass and their daughter Lochie all the best for the future. They will always be part of the Melbourne family.”

Tomlinson was initially recruited by GWS with pick No.9 in the 2011 National Draft. He made his debut the following year and played 140 matches before becoming a Demon.
