MELBOURNE has continued its AFL Trade Period activity, completing a pick swap with Adelaide on Monday morning.

The Demons secured pick No.46 in a deal with the Crows to open the second week, giving up a future third-round selection in return.

“This trade will allow us to partake in some further activity and move up the draft order this AFL Trade Period,” Melbourne AFL List Manager Tim Lamb said.

As it stands, Melbourne holds picks No.5, 28, 40, 46, 49, 54 and 65 in this year’s Telstra AFL Draft.
