BLAITHIN Mackin has continued to show how in-form she is in 2024, recognised by the coaches in Round 2.

The Demon headed into the game following a seven-vote performance in Round 1 and backed it up on Saturday when Melbourne faced Brisbane, polling five votes towards the AFLWCA's Champion Player Award.

While the Dees were unable to finish the day with a win, Mackin was determined and ruthless in her running along the wing, registering 536 metres gained and 19 disposals at 79% effectiveness.

With the back-to-back votes (total of 12) Mackin now sits 12th in the league on the overall leaderboard, with Crows players Anne Hatchard and Ebony Marinoff sitting in top spot with 18.
