INS – Campbell
OUTS – Harris (inj.)

GEORGIA Campbell will line-up for her first game of the 2024 NAB AFLW Season, named to face Brisbane this Saturday.

The Dees will host the Lions for their first home game of the year, with the young Demon set to provide further talent across the ruck and forward positions.

It was confirmed earlier this week that Tayla Harris would undergo shoulder surgery and would miss the remainder of the season.

Alyssia Pisano, Georgia Gall and Denby Taylor have been named as emergencies.

Saturday's match is an important one on the AFLW calendar for more than one reason. Not only will the game be a fierce battle between two rival sides, it will mark a special moment in Alyssa Bannan's career, the Demon set to become the youngest player in AFLW history to reach 50 games.

Senior coach Mick Stinear joined media today and praised the quick and crafty forward on her career to date.

“To play every game since she’s come through the doors, it’s quite remarkable,” Stinear said.

“It’s a testament to Banno’s professionalism and how she trains.

“We’re excited for this week and what’s to come this season.”

Fans will be welcomed back to Casey Fields for the battle between these rivals, the Dees having created the ultimate game day experience to enjoy including the introduction of more food trucks, a Hertz Café zone and plenty of exciting giveaways.

Fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets online HERE, ahead of the game, to allow for a seamless entry into the ground on Saturday morning.
