The Casey Demons have made several key changes ahead of their clash with the Footscray Bulldogs, with six players coming into the side.
Jed Adams returns after an injury and is poised to fortify Casey's defence against the Bulldogs' formidable attack. His presence is expected to bring much-needed stability and strength to the backline.
Joining the lineup is Jack Billings, whose inclusion in the midfield is anticipated to add depth and experience. Billings' return, along with Bailey Laurie, is set to enhance the Demons' midfield dynamics. Laurie, eager to make an impact, is back in the team and ready to use his skills and agility to challenge the Bulldogs' midfielders.
Shane McAdam, after being a late withdrawal due to illness last week, rejoins the side. Known for his flair and creativity, McAdam is expected to bring some magic to the forward line, creating scoring opportunities and adding excitement to Casey's attacking play.
Ben Brown also returns, adding a strong presence in the forward line. Brown's experience and goal-scoring ability will be crucial for the Demons as they aim to convert their scoring opportunities.
A notable inclusion is Jesse Craven, a young midfielder from Gippsland who will make his debut for the Demons. Craven is touted for his excellent forward smarts and work rate. Known for always doing what's best for the team, he ensures precise delivery of the ball inside 50 and is expected to make a significant contribution on the field.
The Demons face a significant challenge as they go up against the Footscray Bulldogs, who are currently sitting third on the ladder. The last encounter between these two teams was in Round 2, where Footscray won by 14 points. Casey will be looking to seek retribution and bounce back after last week’s loss to the Giants.
