MELBOURNE has made three changes to its Sunday line-up with Jake Melksham, Christian Salem and Jake Bowey all entering the final 23.
It was confirmed yesterday that Melksham would be making his return to footy in Round 17, having spent 315 days on the sidelines with an ACL injury.
The Demon is set to add exciting new energy in the forward mix, having continued to work closely with the forward line all throughout his 11 months of rehab.
Christian Salem and Jake Bowey come back into Melbourne’s team after missing last week’s game with respective injury concerns. The two successfully completed training this week to prove their fitness for Sunday’s clash against the Eagles.
Harrison Petty (injury), Kynan Brown and Adam Tomlinson (omitted) make way with Tomlinson joining Bailey Laurie and Tom Fullarton on the emergency list.
This weekend’s game is an exciting one for Dees fans, with the club’s annual Kid’s Takeover. The ‘G will be filled with an array of fun opportunities for families to enjoy on game day.
The Dees will be hosting a special Kids Zone outside gates 2 and 3 from 11am, with Carnival on the Concourse set to delight junior fans.
The carnival will see the return of the Dee Train alongside rides, giveaways and face painting.
Melbourne staff will be handing out 'Golden Tickets' to a few lucky families in the Kids Zone pre-game. This ticket will grant an epic inner-sanctum experience for one adult and one junior, so be sure to get down early for your chance to win.
