MELBOURNE and Haymes Paint are celebrating 10 years of partnership in 2024 and what better way to celebrate then with a red and blue mural.

Taking pride of place at the Dees’ High Performance Centre at Casey Fields, the mural honours the decade of achievements the club has reached across AFL and AFLW programs.

Haymes Paint Director Tim Haymes said he was thrilled to see the artwork come to life.

“Ten years in any partnership is absolutely significant,” Haymes said.

“For Haymes Paint, and I'm speaking on behalf of the family and the business as a whole, to partner with an iconic club like the Melbourne Football Club, it’s pretty special and we feel really, really honoured.

“There’s been so many fantastic memories, we’ve been really fortunate.”

Artist Rory Lynch-Wells was the talent behind the mural, putting together the design and spending five days working on the piece.

Lynch-Wells said he was honoured to be a part of something so special to the club and its partner Haymes Paint.

“I think the main theme that I tried to convey with this mural is a sense of pride and accomplishment,” Lynch-Wells said.

“Melbourne Football Club has achieved a great deal in the last ten years.

“I personally just feel really grateful for the opportunity, and really humbled that Melbourne and Haymes Paint have put so much trust in me to get something like this done.”
