The Casey Demons are locked in for their Round 8 match against the Brisbane Lions, marking a significant reshuffle with seven changes to the lineup. This game, part of the Indigenous round, will be played at Casey Fields, the traditional land of the Bunurong/Boonwurrung People.

The Demons will see several new faces in the squad with the inclusion of Ryan Valentine, Jack Bell, Kobe Shipp, Mitch Szybkowski, Charlie Peters, Caleb Lewis, and Tom Freeman. These additions come as a response to six players being called up to the AFL to join the Narrm Demons for their fixture out West.

Ryan Valentine joins the lineup as a fullback, bringing his exceptional defensive skills and marking ability to the team. Valentine's presence will be crucial in shutting down the Brisbane Lions' key forwards and supporting the team's defensive structure.

Jack Bell comes into the side and is expected to make a significant impact up forward. Known for his strong marking and goal-kicking ability, Bell will be a key target in the forward line, providing the Demons with a potent scoring option against the Brisbane Lions.

Kobe Shipp adds versatility, being able to play both defensive and midfield roles.

Mitch Szybkowski is ready to bring his ball-handling skills and game awareness to Casey this Saturday.

Charlie Peters joins the lineup, bringing versatility and a solid presence to the team. His inclusion is expected to enhance the overall dynamic with his quick pace and physicality.

Caleb Lewis offers a solid physical presence and reliability in defence.

Tom Freeman is poised to make a significant impact as a fullback. Known for his defensive prowess and ability to read the game, Freeman's inclusion is expected to bolster the Dees backline.

Indigenous Round holds special significance as it celebrates and acknowledges the rich history and culture of Indigenous Australians. Playing at Casey Fields, located on the traditional lands of the Bunurong/Boonwurrung People.
