Andrew McQualter - Assistant Coach

Andrew McQualter joined the club’s AFL coaching panel for the 2024 season.

McQualter arrives at Melbourne with a wealth of coaching experience, having spent 10 years in various roles at Richmond.

He joined the Tigers ahead of the 2014 season, working in a development coaching role under Mark Williams before moving into a line-coaching position in 2017, where he was part of significant premiership success.

The 37-year-old’s most recent responsibilities came in the form of interim senior coach, where he took the reins for 13 matches halfway through the 2023 season.
