MELBOURNE has called upon Eliza West to strengthen its starting side as it prepares for a Semi-Final clash against Geelong on Sunday.
West was omitted from the final 21 last weekend but will re-join the team as they battle for a spot in a Preliminary Final.
The bullish midfielder impressed in the contest when the Dees last faced the Cats in Round 5, amassing a game-high 10 tackles.
Georgia Campbell has been omitted from the Semi-Final line-up, while Rhi Watt, Charlotte Wilson and Sammie Johnson have been named as emergencies.
The match will be a special one for two Demons in particular with Olivia Purcell (50 games) and Mick Stinear (75 games) celebrating important milestones alongside each other.
It will be a full circle moment for Purcell, who started her AFLW career at the Cats back in 2018.
Dees fans are encouraged to show their support at the game, which is set for a 3:05pm start at IKON Park.
