THE AFL has today confirmed that Melbourne will once again head to South Australia next season as part of the league's second ‘Gather Round’.
The Demons will open 'Gather Round' when they face the Crows on Thursday 4 April at Adelaide Oval. This match will take place during Round 4 of the 2024 Toyota AFL Premiership Season.
This initiative was first introduced in 2023 and sees all nine matches played in South Australia as part of the AFL's partnership with the SA government.
The home teams for 'Gather Round' will be confirmed when the full fixture is released later this week.
