MATCH PREVIEW:
If there’s two teams that love a fierce battle it’s Narrm and North Melbourne.

In the five seasons since the Roos joined the competition, the Dees have won six of the seven matchups, each margin within 17 points. Add in the league’s close race to finals and this Saturday’s top-four clash is set to be an important one.

The Dees will be looking to diminish the impact of Jasmine Garner and Ash Riddell, North’s formidable midfield duo who are both in career-best form, averaging 31.7 and 31.6 disposals a game, respectively.

The Roos will be eager to restrict Narrm’s two leading goal-kickers in Eden Zanker and Kate Hore who have both starred up forward for the Dees, sitting atop the league leaderboard for goals this season.

PLAYER TO WATCH: Narrm
Libby Birch
Narrm’s backline will have a big battle on its hands come Saturday, with North Melbourne’s notoriously tall and talented forward line posing a big threat to the home side.

Libby Birch, however, is just the player to help stop this threat, the intercept defender well known for her ability to shut down some of the competition’s best forwards.

Birch has been an important presence down back for Narrm since 2020, her strong marking ability and vocal leaderboard on-ground an integral part of the team’s makeup.

PLAYER TO WATCH: North Melbourne
Tahlia Randall
One of three previously mentioned tall forwards for North Melbourne, Tahlia Randall is Narrm’s biggest danger in its defensive 50.

Randall is currently equal third on the leaderboard for total goals kicked this season, behind Narrm’s Zanker and Hore.

In addition to her impact in front of goals, she has a talent for the aerial contest, claiming the title of the league’s leader in contested marks during season seven.
