TYLA Hanks has put together a ten-vote performance during Melbourne’s 42-point win over the Western Bulldogs on Saturday.
The silky midfielder polled the highest votes possible from the coaches, putting her in the top five of the overall leaderboard in the race for the Champion Player of the Year Award.
Hanks' quick work through the contest and effective ball-use was a particular standout, with her statistics solidifying the performance. She registered 25 disposals, seven clearances, seven inside 50s and six score involvements
Kate Hore has held her place at second on the leaderboard after another solid display in the red and blue. The skipper kicked two goals alongside 22 disposals and 10 score involvements.
Lauren Pearce (two), Eliza McNamara (two) and Paxy (one) were the remaining Demons to have polled for their role in the win, while Bulldogs' Ellie Blackburn (eight) and Kirsty Lamb (one) were also recognised.
