FORWARD Jacob van Rooyen has been offered a one-match sanction for Striking in Melbourne’s Qualifying Final against Collingwood.

The incident, involving the Magpies’ Daniel McStay, occurred during the first quarter of Thursday night’s defeat, and was assessed by the Match Review Officer as Careless Conduct, Medium Impact, High Contact.

Melbourne will provide an update on its position regarding the incident in due course.
