MELBOURNE has made one change to its starting side, with Maeve Chaplin entering the final 21.

The Demons will make their first interstate trip this weekend, travelling to Canberra to face the Giants on Sunday afternoon.  

For the Round 2 clash, Melbourne has called upon premiership defender Chaplin to add further depth to its already bolstered backline.

Megan Fitzsimon has been ruled out of the match with injury (lower back).  

Gab Colvin, Charlotte Wilson and Rhi Watt will make up the team’s emergency list. 

The Dees are coming off an impressive Round 1 win over Collingwood and will be looking to back it up with a successful interstate trip.

The first bounce is scheduled for 5:05pm (AEST).
