MELBOURNEfc has elevated exciting youngster Austin Wonaeamirri to the Club's primary list.
Austin is a quick small forward, who is very effective in front of goals. He has impressed in Melbourne’s NAB Cup and Challenge practice matches, with his forward line tackling pressure proving to be a highlight of his game.
Before coming the Club, Austin played his senior football at Norwood in the SANFL, and also played with the Northern Territory Thunder.
Austin's elevation has been made possible because Jack Grimes has been placed on the long term injury list with a back complaint.
