An impressive defence showing keeping a strong scoring team like Carlton to 46 points is recognised in the voting, with a Demon defensive duo recognised.
Backman Steven May and Jake Lever rounded up second and third place in the voting, with eight votes for May and five for Lever.
May earned eight votes with 18 disposals, six intercept possessions and his usual solid leadership from the defensive 50.
Lever topped the game with 12 intercept possessions dominating the backline whilst also operating at 94.1% disposal efficacy.
