FORWARD Jacob van Rooyen has been offered a two-match sanction for Striking in Melbourne’s Round 8 match against Gold Coast.
The incident, involving Sun Charlie Ballard, occurred during the final quarter of Saturday night’s game, and was assessed by the Match Review Officer as Careless Conduct, High Impact, High Conduct.
Melbourne will provide an update on its position regarding the incident in due course.
