MELBOURNE will be bolstered by the return of Harrison Petty in Round 8.
Petty has been welcomed back into the team for the clash against Gold Coast following a week on the sidelines with concussion.
Making way is Josh Schache and James Harmes, who will both join Bailey Laurie and Daniel Turner on the emergency list for the Saturday match.
Senior coach Simon Goodwin said the team was looking forward to the challenge up north.
"They’re a tough team to play, especially up there," Goodwin told media on Wednesday.
“They’ve won eight of the last 11 at their home, so we certainly know what we’re going up to.
"Sometimes the conditions can be a bit different so we’ll get up and assess them on Friday and make sure we’re really well prepared heading in."
