Box Hill Hawks v Casey Demons @ 11:30am

INS – Fowler, Rigoni, Rummel

OUTS – Wilson, D.Smith, Carew

There are a few changes to the side that will take on Box Hill down in Wonthaggi on Sunday morning.

19-year-old Georgina Fowler will make her debut in Demons colours on the weekend as she comes into the side after a trade from GWS as a delisted free agent. She will bring plenty of power and speed into the side having experience in the Rugby 7s talent pathway.

Jemma Rigoni, the daughter of Melbourne Star, Guy Rigoni (107 games, 1998-2005), will make her Debut for Casey on the weekend.

The young Oakleigh Chargers and Vic Metro player will provide another youthful body and wealth of energy to the team to try and take down the hawks.

Steph Rummel will also be bought into the side to make their first appearances of the year for the Demons.

Charlotte Wilson is out after coming into the team in Round 3, while duo Dayna Smith and Kaitlyn Carew have also been left out of the team.

The young pairing from the Dandenong Stingrays, Brooke Smith and Bianca Lyne keep their place in the team after both putting on impressive displays against the Southern Saints last round, despite the result.

Casey will have a chance to jump Box Hill on the ladder if they manage to get a positive result and that will be the focus for Peter Mercoulia’s side on Sunday. Selected side below;

Box Hill Hawks v Casey Demons @ 2:05pm

INS – White, Laurie, Melksham, J.Smith, Buntine, Duursma

OUTS – Edwards, Simpson, Valentine, Grey, Neocleous, Shepherd

There has been a plethora of changes to Taylor Whitford’s side that will be set to line up against Box Hill on Sunday afternoon.

Notably, the skipper, Mitch White is in the side for this return match from an injury earlier this year. White is understandably a big inclusion to the team given not only his playing ability, but his leadership and guidance of the team on and off field.

Joel Smith will also return from injury, making a great addition to an already star-studded forward line.

After coming on for Melbourne as the sub in his second AFL game, Bailey Laurie returns to Casey, while Jake Melksham is in after missing last week.

An exciting addition to the team as well, with development youngster Zane Duursma, the brother of Port Adelaide’s Xavier Duursma, expected to make his debut for the Demons. While Matt Buntine will also return to the line-up.

Tyler Edwards, George Grey, Ryan Valentine, Harvey Neocleous are some of the players out this week, these players being listed as some of the emergencies. Development player Cooper Simpson will also make way, with Miles Shepherd the last of the outs.

It will be a tight game on Sunday with the Box Hill hawks equal on the ladder with Casey, they also have a 4-1 record. Casey will be looking to return to their winning ways as quickly as possible with a win down in Wonthaggi. Selected side below;
