The Melbourne Football Club held its Annual General Meeting on Monday night in the Olympic Room at the MCG.

As there were three board vacancies and five candidates an election of directors was conducted in accordance with the constitution.

The club announced during the AGM the results of the election with the following Board Members being elected.

David Rennick
Janette Kendall
Kate Roffey

The other matter to be considered by members was a Members’ resolution.

Members were advised during the Annual General Meeting that the Members‘ Resolution required 75 percent support to be carried.

The breakdown of votes were as follows.

1575  (45.7 percent)
1868 (54.3 percent)

Accordingly the resolution was not carried.
