The Demons have made two compulsory changes, losing Aaron Davey for the rest of the season with a fractured fibula and Joel Macdonald with an ankle injury.
Brent Moloney, Michael Newton, Matthew Bate and Cale Morton are a chance to play, having been named on the extended interchange.
Paul Johnson, Jordie McKenzie and Rohan Bail have also been named on the bench.
Bate has spent the past four matches with Casey in the VFL and Morton has also been out of the side for the past two games.
Newton has played just two matches this season in rounds two and three and was set for a recall mid-season, before a quadriceps injury occurred.
James McDonald, who is set to finish up with the club at season’s end, will play his 250th match against Port Adelaide.
He will become the seventh Demon to achieve this feat.
Melbourne will be aiming for its first win at AAMI Stadium since round two, 2001.
