MELBOURNE has released its guernsey numbers for its inaugural women’s team.
The Demons will host the Western Bulldogs in a curtain-raiser at the MCG this Saturday at 5.10pm.
Like Melbourne co-captain Jack Grimes, captain Daisy Pearce will wear the famous No.31.
Bronwyn Davey, the sister of Melbourne star Aaron, will wear No.2.
Melbourne supporter Louise Wotton will wear the No.11 jumper.
The Demons will be coached by Michelle Cowan, with Grimes, Paul Groves and Nikki Harwood the assistants.
