MELBOURNE has made three changes to its final 22 for Round 18, with Jake Melksham, Adam Tomlinson and Trent Rivers returning to face Port Adelaide.

The trio have received their opportunity after Clayton Oliver (thumb) and Harrison Petty (Health and Safety Protocols) were ruled out of the side, while Jake Bowey was omitted from the Demons’ squad on Thursday night.

This match will mark Melksham and Rivers’ first runs since Round 11, while Tomlinson last took to the field in Round 12.

Kade Chandler, Luke Dunstan, Jayden Hunt and Sam Weideman will make up the emergency list, with a medical-substitute to be announced 60 minutes before the first bounce in Alice Springs.

The clash at TIO Traeger Park will be the Dees’ eighth home game at the venue, with the match getting underway at 3:20pm (AEST) on Sunday.
