AFTER an impressive performance in Casey’s round one thumping of Coburg, Jay Lockhart has been named the King Gee Trademark Player of the Week.

On his VFL debut, Lockhart finished the game with a goal to go along with 13 disposals and was a clear standout for coach Jade Rawlings.

“(Jay) had a very positive influence on the game and is winning a lot of trust, and respect, for his intensity and willingness to put his body on the line,” Rawlings said.

The Tasmanian will receive a $150 voucher to spend on King Gee workwear.
