BALL movement coach Mark Williams runs through the 22 players who played in Melbourne’s 96-point win over Adelaide Crows at the MCG on Sunday

Rohan Bail: Rohan had another solid performance. He defended well, attacked the ball aggressively and made some good decisions with the ball.

Clint Bartram: Clint’s physicality was outstanding. His tackling was a highlight. He shut down Scott Thompson and won several 50/50 balls. It was also great to see him push forward and kick a goal.

Matthew Bate: It was good to see Matty back in the side. He worked really hard and provided us with an outlet from the backline. His tackling pressure was fantastic, particularly the three tackles he executed to turn the ball over in the last minutes of the game.

Aaron Davey: Aaron had a huge impact. As a leader it was great to see him stand up under pressure. His ball use was outstanding, as was his work-rate. It was a welcome return to form.

Lynden Dunn: Lynden worked really hard all day. He got into space at times, providing an easy option which helped us impact the scoreboard. His ruck work was solid and his second efforts after ruck contests were outstanding.

James Frawley: It was a real return to form for Chip. He took the game on and backed himself, finishing with 26 disposals. His rebound out of defence was outstanding. He set up a lot of our scoring opportunities through his  run-and-carry.

Colin Garland: Col played in front, attacked the ball in the air and won some important ball at ground level. He spoiled with aggression, rebounded aggressively and used the ball well.

Brad Green: Brad led from the front with his physicality and involvement in the game. He used the ball intelligently and directed his players with spirit and passion. It was just great to see him play so well after some frustrations in recent weeks.

Jack Grimes: Unfortunately Jack went off the ground early with a foot injury. It was disappointing for Jack, as he had such a great pre-season and season thus far.

Jordan Gysberts: Jordie worked really hard. His inside work was good and he continues to improve his physicality each week.

Mark Jamar: Some of Russian’s taps were outstanding at the centre bounce. His connection with Brent Moloney was amazing. He continues to gives us first use in the ruck and he had another really solid game. Russian finished with 40 hit outs.

Nathan Jones: Nathan’s physicality was outstanding and he played to structure very well. He had another fantastic game, collecting 28 disposals and turned several 50/50 contests into wins for our team. Nathan also used the ball well and again hit the scoreboard with a candidate for goal of the year.

Liam Jurrah: Liam was a bit in-and-out of the game, even though he kicked 3.4. He didn’t capitalise on all of his opportunities. If he had have been clean with his ball-handling and had attacked the ball harder, he could easily have kicked a few more goals.

Addam Maric: Addam was very lively upon his return to the senior side. He won the ball really well and used it with precision. His work-rate was the area that allowed him to play his best game for the club so far.

Brent Moloney: It was probably Beamer’s best game for the year. It was an outstanding effort, playing inside and winning 19 clearances. He also had 21 contested possessions and used the ball really well. His connection with Jamar was exciting to watch. He stood up as a leader which was very pleasing.

Ricky Petterd: Ricky returned to the side and did a great job on Graham Johncock. He stopped Johncock’s rebound and put pressure on him constantly. He also hit the scoreboard when the opportunity arose. As a result, Ricky kicked four goals - an equal career-best career effort.

Colin Sylvia: Col really started the game well. He had an impact inside and had a fantastic patch in the third quarter, kicking two quick goals to break the crows open. His aggression was terrific.

Luke Tapscott: Luke’s attack on the ball and pressing to defend was outstanding again. He just keeps on getting better each week. His ball use was precise and helped us set up many of our forward thrusts from back transition.

Jack Trengove: Jack’s aggressive tackling was outstanding. He laid seven tackles. His spread and work inside at stoppages was very good again. It was another solid game from Jack.

Matthew Warnock: It was great to see Matty back in the team. It was a tough ask playing on the in-form Kurt Tippett but Matty did a great job at negating Tippett and all of his opponents. His spoiling was impressive as was his aggression and support of his team mates.

Jack Watts: Jack continues to build his game each week. He took some great contested marks and hit the scoreboard again which helps the team. It was also terrific to see his physicality continuing to improve.

Austin Wonaeamirri: I thought Aussie really added some balance to our team when he came on to replace the injured Jack Grimes. He worked really hard at ground level and he made an impact when he went onto the ball. It was also pleasing to see him hit the scoreboard with two goals.
