THE AFL has today announced the details of Rounds 12 to 15 of the 2022 Toyota AFL Premiership Season.
The fixture includes Melbourne’s blockbuster Queen’s Birthday clash against Collingwood, better known as the ‘Big Freeze’.
A highlight of the club’s home-and-away season, the ‘Big Freeze’ each year shines a light on Neale Daniher and his family’s fight against motor neurone disease (MND).
The game will take place Monday 13th June, with the on-field action kicking off at 3:20pm (AEST).
While it is a scheduled away match this year, Melbourne members will have access to the momentous event, being deemed the club's replacement game for 2022.
This compensation comes on the back of the Demons’ scheduled match in the Northern Territory, where they will face Port Adelaide for a home game in Round 18.
Melbourne’s bye week will then take place during Round 14, followed by a return to the Demons’ spiritual home in Round 15, as they host the Brisbane Lions.
The next fixture block provides a host of opportunity for the Demon faithful to fill the MCG, with all supporters encouraged to sign up as a member today.
