MELBOURNE will have three Demons returning to full fitness this week, shortening the club’s injury list for Round 4.
Jake Lever, who is yet to play a home and away game in 2022, will be putting his hand up for selection on Thursday night after overcoming a foot injury.
Harrison Petty is also likely to make a return to the footy field this week, with the key defender aiming to play limited minutes for the Casey Demons on Saturday night.
The 22-year-old suffered a corky to his calf during the pre-season, and after undergoing a minor procedure prior to Round 1, he is now back training with the main group.
Ben Brown, who missed last week’s win over the Bombers due to Health and Safety Protocols, will be out of isolation on Thursday morning, and available for selection in Adelaide.
Dees’ fans will have to wait another two to three weeks before seeing Michael Hibberd in action, as the club continues to take a cautious approach with rehabbing his calf.
Watch below as Dr. Laura Lallenec provides an update on the club’s full injury list.
