Melbourne has made a late change for Round 3
MELBOURNE forward Ben Brown has been ruled out of his side’s Round 3 match due to the AFL’s Health and Safety Protocols.
The 29-year-old will be sidelined for this week, opening a position in the Demons’ starting 22 for Sam Weideman.
Weideman’s call-up will mark his 50th game at AFL level, and first since Round 13 last year.
The late change sees Mitch Brown become an emergency for the Friday night clash with the Bombers.
