DEES AND GIANTS SATURDAY AFTERNOON BATTLE
In our third home game of the season, we’ll be facing the GWS Giants in a Saturday afternoon clash at Casey Fields.
The match will officially begin at 4:10pm, with activities and giveaways organised for fans to enjoy from 3:00pm onwards.
Here's what you can expect from this Saturday out at Casey.

Ticketing
Following the AFL's COVID-safe precautions, matches in the 2022 season will be once again fully ticketed.
Tickets are unable to be purchased at the gate, with fans needing to buy ahead of time.
So don't miss out and get your ticket today. Adult tickets are just $10 and under 18s go FREE (a free ticket must still be redeemed via Ticketmaster).
Arrive early
Gates will open at 3.00pm and fans are encouraged to arrive early to avoid parking traffic and to secure a prime spot on the grass.
Parking is available in the Casey Fields precinct, while you can also catch a bus to the ground from Cranbourne Station. Check the PTV Journey Planner to map out your trip.
Don't forget to bring a picnic rug or fold-up chair to enjoy the game in comfort.
Activities and Giveaways
Chemist Warehouse
Chemist Warehouse will be there to ensure fans have a sun-safe day out at Casey.
First up on their list of fun is a shade lounge, providing deck chairs and umbrellas for you to watch the game in comfort.
Next up is a wellness van, which will be available to snap up footy giveaways and La Roche Posay sunscreens.
Lastly, they’ll be providing fans an area to truly escape from the heat, with an inflatable misting tent.
AFL Victoria and SEDA
AFL Victoria will be there to ensure there are activities aplenty for fans to enjoy, including handball and kicking targets, plus much more set up in the Little Sport Heroes activities area.
And if that’s not enough, Seda will be giving fans more action to enjoy, with their inflatable obstacle courses and football games.
Food and beverage
A food truck will be set up on the northern side of the ground near the big screen, with the canteen also be open in the main grandstand.
Further around the ground, Furphy will have a pop-up bar space.
Staying COVID-safe
What you can expect at AFLW venues
- Please wear your mask where physical distancing is not possible
- Water fountains will not be in use at most venues. Where they are in operation, they will be cleaned and sanitised regularly. Patrons are encouraged to bring their own water bottles
- The venues are cashless, meaning only contactless payments can be used for purchases of food, beverages and merchandise.
- The event ticketing system supports contact tracing.
- Some activations, such as player autographs, will be paused to ensure social distancing requirements are met.
- Increased cleaning and disinfecting of all surface areas and frequented spaces
How you can help
- Plan to arrive early at games where possible, to avoid crowds at entry points close to match start times
- Practise good hygiene and regularly and thoroughly wash your hands
- Maintain physical distancing, keep at least 1.5 metres away from others
- Carry a face mask when you leave home unless you have a lawful reason not to. It is strongly recommended you wear one whenever you cannot keep 1.5 metres distance from others
- If you are feeling unwell, please enjoy the game from the comfort of your home
- Please follow relevant government health advice, and enjoy the game from home, if the following applies to you:
- You are deemed a close contact
- You are awaiting the result of a COVID test
- You are completing a mandated isolation period during to a COVID positive result

To help support various state government vaccination requirements, please ensure you 'check in' via the QR code as you enter the venue. Please download your state government app to understand any requirements.
You can also download the free state government apps to help check in to a COVID-Safe venue (where applicable).
Fans are encouraged to bring along a mask for situations where they cannot distance from others.
Fans are also encouraged to arrive early and allow plenty of time to get to their zone and avoid crowd congestion at the gates.
Increased cleaning and sanitisation will be occurring around the ground, while hand sanitiser stations will be available in each zone.
If you are feeling unwell, please stay home according to public health advice and get tested.
