MELBOURNE’S 22 match-ups are set for 2022, with some big challenges ahead.
Coming off a premiership this season, the Demons will face five talented sides on multiple occasions – Brisbane, Collingwood, Fremantle, Port Adelaide and Western Bulldogs – making for some exciting battles.

Round 1 v Western Bulldogs
Wednesday, March 16, 7:10pm @ MCG
A season opener, a Grand Final rematch and the unfurling of the 2021 premiership flag – this game has it all. The Round 1 clash with the Dogs will be Melbourne’s first home game at the MCG since Round 16, 2020.
Round 3 v Essendon
Friday, April 1, 7:20pm @ MCG
After playing just two Friday night games in the 2020 home and away season – one at an empty Marvel Stadium and the other in front of just 3,772 people in Sydney – the Demons will get a chance to take to the big stage early next year when they meet Essendon.
