Season Overview:
This year, Baker was named in the side for three games, but was the unused medical sub on two of those occasions. While he didn't have many chances to make an impact in the senior side, he was certainly an asset to the Casey Demons, acting as a huge threat through their midfield.

With the restricted VFL season, alongside his AFL appearances, Baker featured in seven games for Casey, averaging 18.4 disposals, with his speed and endurance his biggest strength. His best game for the year was the VFL's Round 6 game against Sydney where he collected 27 disposals and kicked one goal. 

Baker's year in both the VFL and AFL impressed the club and earned him a new contract, with the No.34 staying in the red and blue for the upcoming 2022 season.
