IT'S HARD to say exactly when Melbourne's AFLW pre-season started.

The girls have been training with the club in some capacity for the past six weeks, although many players never actually put the boots away at season's end.

But on Thursday night, the pre-season officially kicked off, with the full group on Gosch's Paddock for the first time in preparation for 2022.
