MELBOURNE has reached – and surpassed – 30,000 members on Tuesday morning.
It’s the earliest Melbourne has reached the figure in the club’s history. In 2016, Melbourne reached 30,000 on March 3.
Chief executive Peter Jackson said it was a pleasing result and one the club was looking to build on.
“It’s an exciting time at the club and it’s particularly pleasing to see so many members have committed for the 2017 season to achieve this milestone,” he told melbournefc.com.au.
