Watt made her AFLW debut in round 2 of the 2019 season for Carlton, but then signed with St Kilda in the expansion signing period in April 2019, and was named a co-captain of the club in January 2020.
In June 2022, following an anterior cruciate ligament injury, Watt was delisted by St Kilda. A few days later, Melbourne signed Watt as a delisted free agent. While recovering from injury, Watt continued to train with the Dees and quickly became a much-loved member of the team.
In 2023, despite not yet having played a game for the Demons, Watt was added to the leadership team in recognition of her skills and experience both on and off field.
She finally made her club debut in Round 7 against West Coast, where she registered twelve disposals, four clearances, and twelve hitouts.
