Majak Daw joined the Demons in March 2021 as a Pre-Season Supplemental Selection.
Born in Sudan, Daw was the first Sudanese-Australian player to be drafted by an AFL club when North Melbourne picked him in the 2009 Rookie Draft.
He debuted in 2013, going on to play 54 games and kick 43 goals as a key forward with the Roos.
Daw also has the ability to contribute in the ruck and as a tall defender.
He was delisted by North Melbourne following the 2020 season and had originally planned to play in the Northern Football League, before the Demons offered him another opportunity in the AFL as a rookie.
