The hard-running small forward and neat ball-user is at his best piling on the pressure and getting up the field to provide a link between the midfield and attack. Spargo comes from a rich footballing lineage, with his father, grandfather, great uncle and great grandfather all playing more than 50 games at VFL/AFL level. The Albury product had his 2024 derailed by an Achilles injury, not returning to action after Opening Round against Sydney.
