MELBOURNE has made just one change for its Round 12 clash against Brisbane, with Tom Sparrow selected in the starting 22.

Sparrow finds his way into the side for Ed Langdon, who suffered a concussion in the late stages of last week’s game and is therefore automatically ruled out.

The 21-year-old, who managed just 85 seconds of game time in Round 11, will be eager to put his best foot forward in what is set to be blockbuster at GIANTS Stadium.

The Friday night clash was originally scheduled to be played in Alice Springs, but Victoria’s recent COVID-19 outbreak resulted in a venue change – it will be the first time the two teams have played each other at the new location.

Toby Bedford, Jake Bowey, Mitch Brown and Oskar make up the Dees’ emergency list.

Being the second week of Sir Doug Nicholls Round, Melbourne will wear its 2021 Indigenous guernsey, which was designed by Santa Teresa artist Amunda Gorey.
