KEY FORWARD Ben Brown will make his long-awaited debut for Melbourne on Sunday, being named for the Round 7 clash against his former side.
Senior coach Simon Goodwin announced the selection on Thursday morning, with the 28-year-old to line up against North Melbourne at Blundstone Arena this weekend.

It will be his first AFL game since August – he played his last match in the blue and white in Round 10, 2020.
Brown’s inclusion comes off the back of some impressive form in the VFL, where he’s kicked seven goals across the past two games for the Casey Demons.
Due to undergoing knee surgery earlier this year, his senior campaign has been slightly delayed, with Dees fans now getting the chance to see the 200cm recruit in action.
Originally from Tasmania, Brown kicked 287 majors across his 130-game career at Arden St, and will be eager to make his mark as a Demon in 2021.
Melbourne’s final team will be named on Saturday evening.
