THREE Demons are set to make their first appearances of 2021, with Mitch Brown, Michael Hibberd and Harry Petty named to face the Hawks.

The trio come in at the expense of Bayley Fritsch (hand), Neville Jetta (omitted), Steven May (head) and Tom Sparrow (omitted).

May is expected to miss two to four games after fracturing his right eye socket against Geelong in Round 4, while Fritsch suffered a fracture hand at training on Thursday which could sideline him for up to two weeks.

Melbourne’s medical sub will be named an hour before the game, with one of the four emergencies – Oskar Baker, Majak Daw, Jetta and Sparrow – to be called upon.

The Sunday afternoon clash at the MCG will be a replacement home game for Melbourne members, as the Dees look to secure a fifth win from as many matches this season.
