MELBOURNE has made four changes to its team ahead of Sunday’s match against Fremantle at Domain Stadium.

Debutant Oscar McDonald, ruckman Jake Spencer, defender Neville Jetta and midfielder Matt Jones were all named in the final team on Friday afternoon.

James Harmes has been omitted while Angus Brayshaw (rested), Heritier Lumumba (ankle) and Chris Dawes (ankle) will all miss the game.

Harmes, Aidan Riley and Rohan Bail are listed as emergencies for the game.

For McDonald, his start at Melbourne has had some similarities to his older brother Tom.

Oscar was drafted at No.53 in the 2014 NAB AFL Draft – the same number as Tom back in 2010.

Tom also made his AFL debut late in 2011, under then coach Todd Viney. He played his first match for Melbourne in round 23 – one round after Oscar.

The brothers will play their first match together since under 14s, when Oscar was playing a few grades higher with Tom. The difference in age is three and a half years.

Meanwhile, captain Nathan Jones will also reach a significant milestone when he plays his 200th AFL match.

Jones, who made his AFL debut in 2006, will become the 25th player to play 200 matches or more for Melbourne since 1897.

The Demons are aiming for their seventh win of the season and their first against Fremantle since round 13, 2011 at the MCG.

Melbourne is also looking to end a 15-game losing streak at Domain Stadium – and win its first match at the venue since round 11, 2004, when the Demons defeated the Dockers.
