MELBOURNE is getting closer to surpassing its all-time member tally, reaching 40,000 members on Thursday morning.
The Demons hit the milestone just two days out from their opening-round clash against Fremantle at the MCG.
With its sights set on welcoming as many Dees fans as possible prior to the AFL season – Melbourne is currently 3,787 members shy of its Round 1 member tally record – the club is encouraging all those who are yet to sign up to get on board.
Thank you to all 40K members who are onboard for 2021!

Fans are also reminded that given the changes to the ticketing process this year, being a member is the best chance of securing a spot at the MCG.
