Green has missed the past three matches with a quadriceps injury, while Davey missed last round’s clash against Brisbane Lions at the Gabba due to a hamstring injury.
Football manager Josh Mahoney said the match committee felt it was best the experienced pair return via the VFL to regain some match fitness.
“It’s been decided for both Brad and Aaron that the best course of action for their preparation to return to the AFL side is to play a full game for Casey this weekend,” he told melbournefc.com.au.
The Scorpions will host Port Melbourne at Casey Fields this Sunday at 2pm.
